I thought I had only four events scheduled in 2026 and then my dance card got added to and I’ve got one event a month for the last half of the year. Here are the ones coming up next’ve got four events scheduled throughout 2026, with three in Texas and one in my annual trip to Utah in February!
My goal for this year is to hunker down and work on publishing several books I’ve been prepping – including the rest of the Pirate and the Mermaid’s Tailor Trilogy. Book 2, The Tailor’s Escape is with the cover artist right now and only has a few steps before it’s ready!
I’m very excited for this year!
So, here’s where you’ll be able to find me!
Side Quest Con – July 17-18 (North Richland Hills, TX – DFW area)

Side Quest Con combines the panels and fun of a comic book convention with the magic of a Rennassiance Faire, including quests and dressing up and ridiculousness.
Here’s a sample
I’ll be on a panel on writing and sharing my expertise and am very excited.
Bell County Comic Con – August 1-2 (Belton, TX)

I’ll be in Artist Alley showing off how cool my books are to all the awesome people in Central Texas.
FanEx Dallas – September 11-13 (Dallas, TX)

Come to Dallas and meet these filthy Hobbitsssss. I don’t know about you, but Legolas might be teenager hot and Aragorn is manly handsome, but I’d prefer a man like Samwise.
This is one of the biggest comic cons in Texas and always a very cool event. I’m working hard on getting one of my books ready for this in a completely new world – so more on that if I can keep on top of working on it.
Benjamin K. Hewett will be at this one too and I highly support any readers reaching out to him to convince him to do Legolas Cosplay for FanEx. I think he could pull it off, but he keeps telling him no. If you come, ask him how he first learned about The Hobbit and how it inspired him to write. https://bkhewett.com/

Big Texas Comic Con – October 9-11 (San Antonio, TX)

This is another big comic book convention in the city I live in. At Spacecon, I educated many people on breakfast tacos and hope to continue to do so at Big Texas Comicon.w
Follow my social media for the latest musings and ridiculous songs like this one about the 100 dogs I took pictures of while traveling in Paris in April.
