L. Palmer’s 2026 Events

I’ve got four events scheduled throughout 2026, with three in Texas and one in my annual trip to Utah in February!

My goal for this year is to hunker down and work on publishing several books I’ve been prepping – including the rest of the Pirate and the Mermaid’s Tailor Trilogy. Book 2, The Tailor’s Escape is with the cover artist right now and only has a few steps before it’s ready!

I’m very excited for this year!

So, here’s where you’ll be able to find me!

LTUE 2026 – February 12-14 (Provo, UT)

This will be my TENTH year on panels at Life, the Universe, and Everything, a creative symposium on sci-fi and fantasy!

This will also be my third year emceeing the author rap battle. These are not the cards I expected when I decided to put myself out there and apply to be a panelist in 2016. I have grown a lot from learning from other authors and creatives at this conference, and enjoy sharing that knowledge with people I meet every year.

We all have our own path as writers and it’s great to support each other.

I’m on 10 panels this round, and will be at the book signing on Friday, February 13.
With this being my 10th year, I’m going to post some stories on social media of why I keep coming back.
You can find me on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and sometimes TikTok when I remember to add things there.

Hill Country Comic Con – March 14-15 (New Braunfels, TX)

This is a great family friendly comic con that is on a cozier community. It’s super fun and gives attendees a better chance to come together. If you’re looking at taking kids to their first comic con, this is a great one to start with. Last year, they had an animatronic T-Rex wandering the aisles! So look for dinosaurs and look for me!

Spacecon – June 12-14 (San Antonio, TX)

Spacecon gets a bit bigger in the Alamo City. There’s a great mix of events and celebrities coming, and awesome vendors like me!
Definitely one to bring a lightsaber to.

At this one and FanEx I’ll be joined by the illustrious Benjamin K. Hewett – if you love DND and classic fantasy adventure, check out his books – https://bkhewett.com/

FanEx Dallas – September 11-13 (Dallas, TX)

Come to Dallas and meet these filthy Hobbitsssss. I don’t know about you, but Legolas might be teenager hot and Aragorn is manly handsome, but I’d prefer a man like Samwise.

This is one of the biggest comic cons in Texas and always a very cool event. I’m working hard on getting one of my books ready for this in a completely new world – so more on that if I can keep on top of working on it.

Benjamin K. Hewett will be at this one too and I highly support any readers reaching out to him to convince him to do Legolas Cosplay for FanEx. I think he could pull it off, but he keeps telling him no. If you come, ask him how he first learned about The Hobbit and how it inspired him to write. https://bkhewett.com/

We’ll see what adventures await in 2026.
