| This week (February 13 to 15), I’ll be heading to Provo, UT for Life, The Universe, and Everything (LTUE), a symposium for sci-fi and fantasy creatives. I’ll be on six panels and emceeing an author rap battle. (Click here for a sample of last year’s rap battle.) If you’re in the area, there’s a book signing Friday night at the Marriott Conference Center in downtown Provo (right off of Center St.) from 7 to 9 PM. I’ll be there with other great authors trying to convince people are books are cool. For those in Texas, I’m slated for two comic cons so far this year: 1. Hill Country Comic Con April 5-6 at the New Braunfels Convention Center. Stop by one of the largest Buc-ees in the world and then come over and check out a great, local comic con. They have a solid list of stars while having a community feeling. I’ll be joined by author Kay Melbrell, another great fantasy writer https://kaymelbrell.com/ 2. FanEx Dallas, May 30 to June 1, 2025 at the Kay Hutchinson Convention Center in Dallas, Tx. I’ll be joined by author Benjamin K. Hewett. If you’ve met me at a comic con, there’s a high chance he’s been there too. If you love Dungeons and Dragons, you’ll love his Paladin’s Thief series. Book Updates I’ve gotten the edited manuscript for the second book in The Pirate and the Mermaid’s Tailor series, The Tailor’s Escape and am working on a final review and will be working on the cover soon. The Pirate’s Daughter, is nearly ready ready for beta readers, which is a big step. I’m on track for releasing both by the end of the year. A word from my rock band, The P.N. Guins Years ago, I created a fake rock band called the P.N. Guins, who moved from Texas to England to get British accents like all the great rockbands (The Beatles, Queen, Led Zeppelin, etc.).I’ve been learning guitar/ukelele for over a year now and thought I’d start sharing my rock band’s original music.Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Icebergs of Love is a song I wrote for my friend and played for her bridal shower.
