| This week (May 30 to June 1), I’ll be heading to Dallas, TX for Fan Expo Dallas, at the Kay Hutchinson Convention Center. I’ll be joined by author Benjamin K. Hewett. If you’ve met me at a comic con, there’s a high chance he’s been there too. If you love Dungeons and Dragons, you’ll love his Paladin’s Thief series. I also have two more events coming up later this year: 1. Houston Celebrity Comic Con September 20-21, 2025 – With Benjamin K. Hewett This is a new event, so we’ll see how it goes! 2. Tex-Indie Author Book Fair, October 11, 2025 in Katy, TX |

Book Updates
I’m continuing on final edits of the second book in The Pirate and the Mermaid’s Tailor series, The Tailor’s Escape. A cover reveal will be coming in the near future!
The third book in the trilogy, The Pirate’s Daughter, is out being read by beta readers to make sure the story is there. So far, readers are very excited for the epic conclusion of the trilogy!
I’m on track for releasing both by the end of the year.
I have an epic fantasy King Arthur retelling with swords and airships that I’m hoping to start publishing in the next year or so. I’ve been hard at work polishing the first book to prep it for beta reading.
- The Ranger and the Gingerbread Trail, the fourth book in the Pippington Tales main series, where Adeline Winkleston meets a handsome cowboy.
- The Heiress and the Beanstalk, where Jack Kingston meets an heiress who’s arranged her own kidnapping.
- The Tale of Isabella Astrellar, which is a prequel to the Pirate and the Mermaid’s Tailor series and one I think many will want to read after finishing the trilogy – or before starting.
So, I’m plugging away at those in between other epic adventures (like my full-time job) while working on developing other stories.
Bonus Fun: The P.N. Guins
Here’s the latest song from my fake rock band, the P.N. Guins, who moved from Texas to England to get British accents like all the great rock bands.
Sweet Dogs is based on two pairs of stray dogs my sister brought home. Both have gone on to other great homes!
If nothing else, you should get a good laugh and see some great dog pictures in the video.
I’m taking suggestions for future rock songs, including suggestions for rock genres and subjects. Bonus if it’s book or Fantasy related!
